This valve is designed to be soft soldered into lines without disassembly, using a low temperature solder to 420¡ã F(216¡æ), A higher temperature solders amy damage the reseat material. When applying heat, avoid direct flame to the center of the valves body, excessive heat can do harm to the seats. After soldering, the packing nut may have to be tightened.
